About us

Attestto Inc.

We build digital identity infrastructure on open standards from W3C, NIST, ISO, and IETF. Founded in Costa Rica, focused on Latin America, incorporated in Delaware.

Standards-first, citizen-owned

Attestto exists because identity infrastructure should be a public good, not a rent-extraction opportunity. The technical bar is high because the stakes are high.

Mission

Identity is a citizen right. Verification, signing, anchoring, and recovery are free forever. Commerce pays. That distinction is hard-coded in how the platform is built.

Standards we author

Every specification is public and vendor-neutral.

  • did:pki: DID method for CA-hierarchy trust anchors
  • did:sns: DID method for Solana Name Service bindings
  • IEAL: Identity Evidence Assurance Level

Where we participate

Standards work is not a marketing tactic; it is how the identity infrastructure category matures. Below are the venues where we are active or plan to be.

W3C Credentials Community Group

Active engagement on did:pki registry, did:sns discussion, and IEAL peer review.

Decentralized Identity Foundation (DIF)

HAVID alignment via peer discussion. IEAL scope introduced as a compositional identity assurance model.

GLEIF vLEI Framework

vLEI Solana Bridge deployed as an on-chain implementation of the GLEIF vLEI Framework.

NIST SP 800-63-4

Informative crosswalk published. Future revision comment window is the engagement target.
